Pros and cons of Google Earth app for iPhone and iPad
Google Earth app good for
Amazing app, see everything thing in the world with this free app, and I saw the google street view car today, when is the 2017 app update going to come? Anyways great app, I recommend it
Please put a navigate option on pushpins uploaded from emails would really help with navigation.
On the previous version you could see transit routes and street names. Now you can only see the street names from street view and the transit info has disappeared.
*Urdu* is one of the largest speaking language too kindly add it. I hope you will have soon language update as requested thanks
Google Earth will now be useable on upcoming iOS11. My favorite feature has always been the 3D view; however, with this update, it seems the graphics have taken a step backward, as views up close look blurry. Also, satellite images (our area at least) are old. But overall, I love Google Earth!
Havent used this app much but its much better and more intriguing than the 2013 version. Love the dice icon and the ability to drop the Street View icon from a high position. Best of all, though, its nice how the app is now compatible with iOS 11
Some bad moments
Thanks a lot, morons. I used to be able to use the app for work, but since the most recent update it is now practically worthless. Revert back to the old version and fire the idiot responsible for this garbage "update".
This update is horrible!!! What happened?? If I could give this a zero I would. The graphics are not even recognizable. So long
Google Earth mobile use to be cool, but now it was ruined with the new update. Some of the things I miss is the photos where you could go to any town without google street view and click on the photos. But now, there arent any photos so places without street view is a mystery. Second is that you cant view the streets, we can now only view the highways but nothing else. Third is the icons that you can click on and if you click see Wikipedia itll pop up a little Wikipedia article in Google Earth,
Now we have these cards and if we click see Wikipedia, itll bring up safaria. Really the update ruined it and I can go on but still, why did you do this.
On what is going on with the latest release. Talk to us! Why did you update a good release with crappy code?
The opening globe is not smooth any more. Choppy and buggy almost like it wants to crash. Needs to be checked out. This is on iPhone 7 and iPad 10.5 and desktop. This is all with fresh install. Was perfect on the first release on Thursday. Please look into it. I am obviously not the only one having these issues Thanks
Took a great app and ruined it. The 3D mode looks cheap and the absence of Wikipedia reason enough to delete this app. Its not hard to spot the paid positive reviews either. Youre not fooling anyone Google. Bring the old version back.
Scrolling isnt smooth anymore and now its hard to move around easily.
