Great but needs tweaking

I dont like the big screen on the upper left hand corner which blocks my maps.. after I punch in a destination, it flags the spot but then takes up the whole left side of the map and I cant see where the roads are. If I exit out of the map, it then gets rid of my location marker..

Come on developers, please quick hogging the map with directions when I just want to look at where I might be going..
