Where are panoramio photos and wikipedia????

Google earth has been a great both on ios or pc for so many years but it seems that google has decided to waste this great app for no reason by taking its great features!!!! Why did you remove the links to wikipedia and pictures through Panoramio (the photos that people have taken and uploaded from popular areas and places around the world!!!!!!!)??????? Being able to view great pictures taken, from panoramio or getting useful infromation via wikipedia when zooming on specific places was my number one reason to use google earth!! But now you have removed this feature and there is no difference between google earth and google maps!!! Im happy that Ive saved my older google earth app on computer so I could downgrade to it and get panoramio and wikipedia links back!

Horrible update!!!

You removed all useful features like photos, visible street view lines, panoramas, and added "adventure"-like crap. Are you crazy??? Whos gonna waste his time for that?! Its a wow-features for-a-day.

No more pictures!

Please make it so that we can have access to the pictures of places when you zoom in again. Very bummed that this feature is gone.

Oh snap

Once a good app became buggy and much slower

Fave feature gone

Please bring the user submitted photos back. It was our favorite feature that helped us get to know a region "through the eyes of..." Further, why did you revert the maps to 2013? I just checked my parents house and yep sure enough their old car was in the driveway and the houses across the street werent even built yet. Cheap "upgrade"

Stunning performance and quality!

Just silky smooth great graphics. This IS the golden era of cartography!. Totally impressed.

shiiiit

bug bug

lacking pro features!!!!!!

Leave the consumer level features to google maps. Google Earth should be reserved for higher-end users. This app is too simple for what it could be. Other than that, I do enjoy how detailed the imagery is.

Awesome Update!

The newest update brings Google Earth back to a must have app for any iOS user. Google has done it again!

THE EARTH IS FLAT

Get it right.

"kHamburger" … WTF⁉️

Prior to today, the last meaningful update to this app was in June of 2013; the May 2016 update was little more than an icon refresh. In other words, we have waited for over four years for this bloated, bug-ridden, and thoroughly useless piece of shiteware. At one point in time, I would have expected much more of Google; recently, however, this type of amateurish software development has become par for the course. The Google Earth app development team should be ashamed of themselves…

Shoddy Settings

Im surprised Google uploaded a major update with strange "kHamburger" nomenclature for every setting. Its also a pity that the high res 3D consists of old imagery rather that the latest imagery available to Google.

New version is not as good

The new update doesnt provide as many map options as the older version, which let you toggle things like roads, borders, and info markers. The new version also moves stiffly and is not as quick as the old version.

Cartoons instead of satellite images? Come on!

The point of Earth is to see the Earth. Now we have horrible, primitive, video-game-poor 3D fake graphics overlaid on the real hi-res satellite images. This stuff is terrible and I can find no way to turn it off. Researching a trip? Not any more. Viewing natural phenomena? Not any more. Finding a turn at an intersection? Not now. Fake trees that look like camo netting in a 13 year olds video game? You bet! PROVIDE AN OPTION TO DISABLE THE CARTOONS.

Altitude DTM!!

Hi! Release after release, I hope to be able to get altitude of the terrain for any point on the earth. It is possible on your computer application, so why dont you propose this feature on the mobile application ??

Very good

Very Nice

Very fast app! Street View works great!

This new version is very fast (and long overdue). Street View works great. Barebones, but does what its meant to do. Google Maps does most of the rest. The only feature I would like to see is a distance measuring tool (line, shape, etc.) with metric/imperial unit options.

Maintenant 64bit, merci :-)

After some years, ... Now 64 bit, ... thanks :-)

Great improvement!

Now that is a great improvement! IM impressed by how smooth it is and keep up the great work!
