The latest updated version sucks. Added "cool" useless gimmicks for the children, lousy, low-resolution,out-of-date satellite photos. Huge step backwards. Everybody claiming its faster as if the last version was glacial, I see no difference and never has a speed issue with the older iterations.

Thank you for finally making this app all that it should be. And so much more than it ever was. Mostly, I love that street view is back. That is 1 of my favourite functions, but it hasnt worked for some time.

What happen to the translations? Seems like they are all gone. Happy to share screenshots

I updated the app on my IPhone 7 but every word is kHamburger... Whats up with that? Its fine on my iPad, otherwise. Please fix this asap. Ta

This update still has 2015 maps.

The new app is much better and faster, but Im not getting any labels, no matter which map style I choose. Theres nothing for countries, cities, or roads. Please fix.

Prior to today, the last meaningful update to this app was in June of 2013; the May 2016 update was little more than an icon refresh. In other words, we have waited for over four years for this bloated, bug-ridden, and thoroughly useless piece of shiteware. At one point in time, I would have expected much more of Google; recently, however, this type of amateurish software development has become par for the course. The individuals on the Google Earth app development team should be ashamed of themselves…

Because iOS 11 will no longer support 32 bit applications

The satellite images on Google Maps for my area are about 3 months old or so. The satellite images in Google Earth, for the exact same area are at least 5 years old. So why bother with this app?

The new update was very good and I liked the 3D, and I have not run into a bug yet. The new version was really cool and I say I like the app

Who thought this "upgrade" was a good idea?! Am I missing something? This is a cartoon. Where are all the useful features like history, what the photo source is, overlays,...

Congratulations, you just ruined GE. Take something that was perfectly fine and "improve" it. If I cant view in full horizontal at ground level its useless to me. Now its junk.

A lot of things you can zoom up on will crash the app. These same spots work fine on the PC browser.

Google Earth has many cool features allowing you to see any part of the world. Although it can sometimes crashes my phone, it easy to find any location that you are looking for.

Fish eye lens views and huge graphics now cover the streets I once loved to visit. How can I revert to the preupdate version?

Google earth itself is good. But where are all the photos? For me, that was the best part of Google earth. Where did all that content go? How can you add a photo of a particular location? Not a 360 or panorama, just a regular pic. Please bring back this feature. I will rarely use this app since a crappy satellite image is nowhere near as satisfying as a good photo. If this function is restored then Google earth will again be one of my most used apps.

Practical attributes are gone such as coordinates and immediate access to current location. All the maps are now way out of date and the overall look is less crisp and fuzzier than the previous version. Nice toy.

Google deserves better software developers than this

I own an iPhone 5s, an iPad Pro and an iPad 3, all updated to the latest possible Version of the iOS. In either device, the starting of the latest version of Google Earth results in a black screen. No reaction to any command.

Also on my iPhone all the item labels show their identifiers instead of their names.
