Finally an update like it

updated app, now all text and menus have some sort of header info on all titles. Everything starts with a K Latest iOS on iPhone 6.

Not all the famous monuments are shown like the Berj Khalifa or The Great Pyramids of Giza, do not get this app.

Continually crashes on iPad Pro

Wheres the picture clarity? Its a blurry mess when trying to zoom in. Looks like a blurry cartoon when zooming in on locations! Picture resolution could be improved. The old app had better quality satellite zoom in pictures!

hellooooo.....can you guys make it so that we can choose specifically what it is that we want to see on the map?....like if we want to see just the roads, give an option to click roads or if we want to see just borders then give an option to see only borders....and also there is a kml called " black marble " with this update when I am using the kml it doesnt let me look at the country borders or divisions....if you could fix those 2 things, ty (:

Every time I try to open app it says it needs to update for IOS 11. When will this happen otherwise will have to delete as it will slow down my iPad Pro 2 12.9".

Cant find any way to disable the new 3D overlay. I need this app for precise satellite imagery, not useless gimmicks.

The things on the map are still ugly

Props to Google for finally updating google earth. Everything is so much faster and its nice not having the app crash every 10 minutes. Im glad it got updated so it can still be used in iOS 11.

Idk why but the screen (map) is black

Prior to the recent update, Google Earth was the absolute go-to app. Not any more! Two of the many examples the so is worse are: out-dated map views (my neighborhood view is over 4 years behind current); not realistic images for trees/structures. Not pleased.

Google is the worst company on the web now!!! It fronts as a legitimate company under the disguise that it is improving your web surfing experience when in reality it secretly gathers all of your personal surfing information to sell to advertisers. Chrome is the absolute worst of Google products. I refuse to use it!! Google does what it wants to do without your permission too. Google earth was recently upgraded overnight without my permission and it deleted all of my saved locations! Who gave them the right to remove the places I chose to save? This new format is trash technology!!! Thumbs down to Google!!!!!

After almost 4 years of no real update... only because ios 11 wouldnt support it...

You have go back 4 yrs or more to find a good review. Its just awful now. The maps zoom in imagery looks more like a bad 90s video game. Bleck!

I have just updated but still the views on my iPad are outdated, compared with friends with the same version of the app. This has been going on for years now. Why?

Thanks but some suggestions. Change load street view to picture view on picture view and update the Boston Aerial view and street view to 2017 and cape cod at low tide. Thanks.

I like the ideas behind the app, but whenever I open the new one it just shows a black screen. Ive deleted a couple times to try and reinstall but every time I do it just reinstalls the old app, which actually still works. Please address this issue, Id really love this app to work
