About time theres an update, its only been five years...

Every time I tap the icon on my iPad Pro, Google Earth pops up momentarily and then immediately shuts down. The app worked perfectly until I updated it this morning. Bummer!

Everything looks dull and washed-out like when the contrast was misadjusted on an old TV set. Triangle artifacts everywhere.

This is a major rewrite. Version 9 feels new and modern. It has tighter integration with metadata about the places youre looking at.

New version seems to have removed the user pictures. Why? Poor idea Google.

Im really sorry I upgraded. With no street names, this version is essentially useless to me. and I cant get out of the 3D buildings mode, which is excruciatingly slow on my slow dsl connection. Can I get the previous version back?

Finally an update. Some things annoy me though. Sometimes when you go to look at a city, its not even three d. It looks like you glued a picture of the city and put it on the map. And not to be nit picky but when you go to universal studios Hollywood, Harry Potter world doesnt show up. Its just a playground. And I liked when you could go to any place and press a small yellow square and see info about it. Now you cant do that. But overall I love the app and the update was amazing. I love the new features you added. Great job!

Search list gets bigger and bigger. Apparently no way to delete. Please fix.

I do like the new google earth app.....but I cant use it like I use to!the usefulness is gone. I would use the hotel icons to search for information of that hotel,No More! I click on it now and all it shows is a useless picture.i would click on the Panoramio pics to see pics from all over the world,No More!there are NO more Panoramio pics.Restaurant icons were also full of information of the property,No More!useless picture again,and many other useful things that are gone!.So the new google earth app is crisp and performs at a cleaner and faster rate,but only at the cost of giving us half the information it used to give us.

Does not appear to save files in "my places" if I reboot the iPad or shut off the app. What is the point of "my places" if you cant leave kml and kmz files there? Am I missing the save my places command that is on the desk top version?

After the latest update this app has become useless. It will crash, or not load the world. Disappointing Google I expect much better.

After the newest update, some sites are gone from the search, and some places look almost photoshopped that were clear in previous updates. Not even sure how legitimate half of this actually is anymore. Starting to feel like the computer version, where everything looks great til you zoom in, just to see they have plastered a giant colored square over something.

Works nicely after some bug fixes. Much better UI than the monstrosity of the older versions (it fits into the current google design language). Kudos to the team at Google for quickly responding to feedback and releasing an update.

The new update is beautiful and much smoother on newer devices (iPhone 7) but I am no longer able to see coordinates in decimal format. That was our primary use of google earth and it is now unusable as we would have to constantly convert degrees, minutes, seconds into decimal format. Please give us the option back!!!! Also, KMZ files are now uncompressed properly and seem to be fully supported just like the desktop version! Yay! However, once you quit the app and re-open you must re-upload the KMZ file every. single. time. I used this app to gather coordinates (in decimal format as I do not want to convert all of them) and to quickly few my personal kmz files. Now I am unable to use the app post update :(

For someone who used this app regularly this is a big surprise that the app was completely remodeled. I dont like it. If it finds my location I cant turn that off, you cant turn off 3D buildings (turning them off reveals a newer/updated image of the location just not in 3D), and this 2D/3D feature is really throwing me off. I applaud you for trying, but I think you did too much too quickly.

Keeps crashing, Ive downloaded numerous times and still does not work .

Ever since 2013, Google hasnt made any big changes to its app. The 2017 update makes Google Earth more "Google-ish" and not so much iOS 6. I especially love the dice icon which takes me to a random location so I can learn about places Ive never seen. My favorite part of this new update is that I feel better using it. The "fill-in-Google" buttons make it feel more modern. Thank you guys for taking your own time to update this awesome app that everyone loves!

Thanks for update to support IOS 11 and redesigned like the computer. Do you think you can add the aerial view imagery history like the computer thanks.
