Google Earth App Reviews

The only useful or fun thing about this app was looking at user photos by panaramio. This app is now a useless piece of garbage and will be deleted from my phone.

The quality has gone downhill and its pretty slow.

Too bad. I was tracking our familys cruise on a ship tracking site in conjunction with Google Earth on the split screen. This AM, Google Earth kept crashing, even with an iPad reset. So I downloaded the update - which doesnt work in split screen.

I sure hope that google makes some serious improvements to this in the future. I randomly check to if they have from time to time. The 3D graphics look like 1990s ??

Im a surveyor working on a project in oklahoma. Loading KMZ files and navigating with google earth was how we find our way around these hills. The picture quality is horrible and theres no longer a realtime blue dot on your location. Im deleting the app and currently looking for another kmz app that has all the old perks google earth used to have before I end up breaking my phone out of frustration.

With one update you have completely ruined Google earth the older version was solid,accurate we could overly KMZ files of our maps and it worked flawlessly with this update you have rendered google earth impossible to use.

Im glad you guys updated this I thought google earth was gone for good but yay!But some places still look blurry and some times it lags a little.The old google earth was better.All you could be done was update the compatibility.Nvm it crashes to much and sometimes it wont load.Plz fix this

Seriously Google? The most used button is in a sub menu? Makes me wonder what other idiotic things I havent noticed or are done behind the scenes.

Way better than doing in safari, you will love it! Dont listen to other people rating it down! YOU WILL LOVE IT ???! Get it, try it out!

All 3D maps seem to be gone with the update with exceptions in some locations

It dont lag, photos and street view loads faster and also that feature that lets you to view 360 degree is also very interactive - it lets you to explore places were Google didnt photographed for street view. Browsing is more comfortable than it ever was now.

Made it more complicated and unuser friendly. I was excited for the update until I realized I prefer the last interface. 1 star. How can I DOWN-DATE?

Why fix something that wasnt broken? This wasnt even an improvement. Movement and browsing (for lack of a better word) is awkward and not slick. The panorama pictures are gone, the Wikipedia icons are gone, we should at the very least be able to choose what we want visible on the map. I dont need to see roads for example... roads are for google maps not google earth. The texture seems different as well... it looks more like google maps than google earth... Ive been exploring the world through this app since I was a child... way to ruin it.

Youve lost your way and become so hypocritical on diversity you dont even allow a person to have their own opinions. Keep your group think up enjoy your smaller and smaller shares I personally will no longer use your services directly and will do everything I can to stop using them altogether.

Dislike the new update. Nothing is labeled and I cannot find anywhere that will add it to my maps. ( checking the box to label states, roads, towns etc... doesnt work) I want to know what state, city or town Im looking at and the names of the roads, lakes etc.. No user pictures or access to Wikipedia which I used both on a daily basis. I spend a lot of time on this app. Im not sure I will now, everything thats left on the app. is worthless to me bring it back!!!! New isnt always better and I this case, I agree.

The opening globe is not smooth any more. Choppy and buggy almost like it wants to crash. Needs to be checked out. This is on iPhone 7 and iPad 10.5 and desktop. This is all with fresh install. Was perfect on the first release on Thursday. Please look into it. I am obviously not the only one having these issues Thanks

The recent Google Earth update has almost ruined the Google Earth experience its now slower its too cluttered and theres just too much going on with it the older version was simpler and much more user friendly than this version.

Personally, I love the new google earth. The app itself runs smoother, has a nicer-looking GUI, and is very functional with the zooming and scrolling. I dont understand why this app has such mixed ratings.
