Google Earth App Reviews

This new version has cost me time while I am researching streets, geological areas, buildings etc. for my business! If google will not allow us to go back to the regular mapping that was CLEAR and flat without the contours then I will need to look somewhere else. Very disappointed that we are not allowed this option on apple computers, iPad and iPhone. What a waste and inconvenience.

Horrible app now! Its glitchy and slow. No option to delete search history. I tried searching help and got help for the desktop version. Why cant I delete search history on the new app version?

The latest version of this app has so much potential. However, it seems to be very crash prone going to street view. Looking foreword to future updates.

We used this to display markers from kml files, and the latest version broke this - it now displays nothing when the kml files are opened in the app.

Google Earth was my favorite app of all time, until this last update: they removed all photos and wikipedia links...sure, they give you "knowledge" cards, an awful way to dumb down what was once a great educational app.

Great work folks. Love taking imaginary "trips" anywhere in the world! The graphics are really getting good. Especially where you have high resolution imagery.

The distance fog is annoying. The borders only appear when zoomed in, Id rather be able to toggle them. The graphics quality is far worse than before. The borders are ugly now. The UI at the top is stupid. There are less options to customize what locations are shown. Awful.

I hate this update. I cant toggle the street names off and on. If I want to see the street names, I have to turn everything else on too. I prefer to be able to turn things off and on separately.Im seriously thinking of removing it from my iPad. It never really compared to the full version on my computer even before the update. Now its even worse.

The icon for the new update looks like a child drew it. Horrible

Every single day since nothing news been added on.

The opening globe is not smooth any more. Choppy and buggy almost like it wants crash. Needs to be checked out. This is on iPhone 7 and iPad 10.5 with fresh install. Was perfect on the first release on Thursday. Thanks

The ONLY reason i ever downloaded this app is to look at the county lines and see where i was when i was trying to collect counties. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring back the county lines, or at LEAST make it an option. Im begging you

A years wait ends up in disappointment: the world does not load when you open the app. In addition, whenever I tap the "tutorial" option, the app crashes. Please Google, patch the best app to make it the best app again! Thank you!

The elimination of user photos has destroyed the value of this program as a tool for exploration and inquiry. More of a magazine than a tool now. The artistry of user photos and their human point of view is gone, and anyplace Google cameras cant drive are now unseeable, which is most of the planet.

Old information used. A ton of Photo Shopping evident on Antarctic region. App is pretty useless.

the app developer do not update regularly. I recommend give just one star.

the only reason for this app over google maps was the user photos...to see user photos from places like north korea was priceless. you guys messed up. bad.

Need an option for plain satellite view. The 3D option is blurry and looks fake.
